CITY OF WEEPING WATER
PUBLIC HEARING/SPECIAL MEETING
MARCH 24, 2011
Mayor Howard Stubbendieck opened the public hearing regarding Diane Wade’s request for additional Reuse Loan funds at 10:10 a.m. on March 24, 2011 at City Hall with the following members of the Council answering roll: Bob McCaulley, Ray Frew, and Mitch Miller. Absent: Kelly J. Nutter. Notice of the public hearing and special meeting was given in advance thereof by posting in three public places in the City of Weeping Water on March 15, 2011. The posted location of the Open Meeting Act was noted by the Mayor.
Members of the Council reviewed the information presented regarding the Application of Diane Wade for an additional $10,000 in Reuse loan funds and were advised of the Reuse Loan Committee’s recommendation for the same. There being no public objection, the public hearing was closed and the Special Meeting was opened with all members except Nutter answering roll.
Motion by Miller seconded by McCaulley to adopt Resolution No. 11-03, which approves the application of Diane Wade, d/b/a Wade Insurance Agency, for the use of an additional $10,000 of program income from a previous Community Development Block Grant #86-ED-013 (Reuse Funds) for additional costs involved with the relocation and expansion of an existing business. Motion carried with McCaulley, Frew and Miller voting aye. Nays: None. Absent: Nutter.
Motion by Miller, seconded by McCaulley to adjourn at 10:15 a.m. Motion carried unanimously.
