CITY OF WEEPING WATER

The Weeping Water City Council met in special session at 8:15 a.m., on March 22, 2012 at City Hall for the purpose of considering action on lawn equipment purchases and establishing financing for the same. Mayor Howard Stubbendieck called the meeting to order and announced the posted location of the Nebraska Open Meeting Act. Council members answering roll were Bob McCaulley, Ray Frew and Mitch Miller. Absent: Kelly J. Nutter. Notice of the meeting was given in advance thereof by posting in three public places in the city on March 20, 2012.
Following review of proposals received for lawn equipment, a motion was made by McCaulley, seconded by Miller to approve the proposal of Omaha Tractor for the purchase of a F3080 Kubota 30hp diesel 4 wheel drive tractor with a 72” deck and a Scag 48” lazer mower for a total cost of $24,202. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Frew, seconded by McCaulley to adopt Resolution No. 12-05, which authorizes a proposal for three year financing of said lawn equipment through Farmers & Merchants Bank in Weeping Water, Nebraska. Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by Miller, seconded by McCaulley to adjourn. Motion carried unanimously.
