Cass County will be conducting a Scrap Tire Recycling Collection on Wednesday, July 22, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Thursday, July 23 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Cass County Road Department, 7600 Hwy. 50, Weeping Water. This collection will be on a “first come, first served” basis. The event will be closed upon reaching 150 tons of waste tires. No limits on number or type of tires. Collection is limited to Cass County residents. (Must have a “20” county license plate.) NO RIMS OR TUBES & NO RETAILERS.
