Weeping Water Newsletter
The beginning of summer storms have been blowing through, flooding the Weeping Water Creek. Included in this week's newsletter are pictures of the creek and the flooded track field. Also included in this week's newsletter are pictures and information on the local Amanda's Dance Studio dance recital and more!
Rain, Rain Go Away!
Last week, as you all know, we had one bad storm after another. Some with just rain, others with high winds that blew down branches and tornado threats. One of the storms blew the roof completely off the Auditorium, causing a delay in the renovation process. The storm that occured on Wednesday included all of these. Wednesday there were very high winds, a big threat for tornados, and lots of rain! So much rain, in fact, the Weeping Water Creek was flooded up over the bank! Thursday morning I drove across the bridge to got to work and I was shocked to see the creek was flooded all the way up to the bike trail! In case you didn't see the major flooding or the roof mess, I took some pictures to share.
Can't Stop the Beat!
Weeping Water's Amanda's Dance Studio had their Annual Dance Recital June 8. There were four classes of students performing and they all did great! You could tell all the dance students were having a great time showing off their dances to family and friends.
The group that performed to Hot, Hot, Hot and Macarena included Kiera Brack, Stevie Hanson, Grace Cave, Kaitlyn Cappen, Jamison Twomey, and Jenna Twomey. The group that performed to Do You Love Me and Upside Down included Peyton Barrett, Regan Aronson, Taylor Ferguson, Lilly Kastens, Jordyn Bergmann, Kelsi Vogler, and Grace Hansen. The group that danced the night away to Uptown Girl and Let's Dance included Sammy Thomas, Jaiden Thomas, Becca Markham, Kendall Barrett, Kelly Patton, Kara Aronson, Katie Dettmann, and Claire Hansen. Savannah Barrett, Nichole Thomas, Katie Thoms, Kathryn Kirchhoff, Emily Randall, and Rebecca Kirchhoff performed to Simply Irresistible and Candyman.
Certificates for perfect attendance were awarded to Kiera Brack, Regan Aronson, Jordyn Bergmann, and Jaiden Thomas. Certificates for outstanding attendance were awarded to Grace Hansen, Claire Hansen, Kelly Patton, and Nichole Thomas.
Congratulations girls on a wonderful recital!

Brad White's ministry includes vocal music as well as impressive saxophone and piano artistry. His talent and humore make for an enjoyable experience, but his focus is always on pointing to the religious meaning of the concert. A concert with Brad White is an event for the whole family! Brad includes music from the great hymns of the church to southern gospel to modern praise and worship. Brad White has received two Grammy Nominations.
