SATURDAY, JULY 14TH.  MR. ED GEGG SERVED ON THE

WEEPING WATER CITY COUNCIL FOR 4 YEARS AND

 WAS MAYOR FOR 5 YEARS.

LETTERS FROM THE CITY COUNCIL WILL BE GOING OUT SOON

TO THOSE RESIDENTS WHO NEED TO TRIM THEIR TREES AND BUSHES.

TREES MUST TRIMMED TO A HEIGHT OF 15 FEET ABOVE THE SURFACE

OF A STREET OR SIDEWALK TO ALLOW FOR THE SAFE PASSAGE OF

SNOW REMOVAL EQUIPMENT AND THE GARBAGE TRUCK.  ALSO, SHRUBS OR 

BUSHES NEED TO BE TRIMMED TO ALLOW AMPLE VISIBILITY FOR TRAFFIC.

THE CITY OF WEEPING WATER IS LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS TO JOIN

THE RESCUE SQAUD.  IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED, PLEASE CONTACT

ANY MEMBER OF THE SQUAD OR COME BY THE CITY OFFICE FOR AN

APPLICATION.  THE CITY IS ALSO ASKING FOR BUSINESSES TO SUPPORT

THE RESCUE DEPARTMENT BY ALLOWING THEIR EMPLOYEES TO MAKE CALLS

DURING THE DAYTIME HOURS.  THANK YOU!!!

"ALL MOST, MAINE" AUDITIONS AT THE LOFTE THEATRE

THE LOFTE COMMUNITY THEATRE IN MAINLEY ANNOUNCES THAT IT

WILL BE HOLDING OPEN AUDITIONS ON SUNDAY, JULY 22ND AND

MONDAY, JULY 23RD AT 7PM.  THE THEATER IS LOOKING FOR 10 MEN

AND 9 WOMEN AGES 22-50 FOR THEIR UPCOMING PRODUCTION

OF, "ALMOST MAINE."  NO EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY.  THE LOFTE

WELCOMES ALL LEVELS OF THEATRICAL SKILL.

"ALMOST," IS A COMBINATION OF STORIES THAT TAKE PLACE

IN A REMOTE, MYTHICAL TOWN IN MAINE.  IT'S  A COLD, CLEAR

MOONLESS NIGHT AND AS THE NORTHERN LIGHTS HOVER ABOVE,

THE TOWN'S RESIDENTS FIND THEMSELVES FALLING IN AND OUT OF

LOVE IN UNEXPECTED AND SOMETIMES HILARIOUS WAYS.

ACTORS WILL AUDTION USING COLD READINGS FROM THE SCRIPT.  THE

PRODUCTION'S DIRECTOR WILL BE KEVIN COLBERT.  THOSE AUDITIONING

SHOULD BRING A LIST OF POSSIBLE SCHEDULE CONFLICTS.  REHEARSALS

WILL BEGIN AROUND THE FIRST OF AUGUST.  PRODUCTION DATES ARE

SEPTEMBER 1, 2, 7-9 AND 13-16.
