Any person who owns, possesses, keeps, harbors, or has charge, custody, or control of an animal or permits an animal to habitually remain or be lodged or fed within his or her house, store, building, enclosure, yard, lot, grounds, or premises must license that animal.
Please stop by the city office to get your pet license. Office hours are 8am-4pm

On Saturday, May 25, at 10am, there will be a FREE fiddle workshop at the National Homestead Monument in Beatrice, Nebraska. The workshop will be led by championship fiddler and fiddle book author, Deborah Greenblatt. Deborah was the first woman to win the Nebraska State Fiddle Championship, and the first woman to win the Mid-America Fiddle Championship. She is a Master Artist with the Nebraska Arts Council, and performs residencies in the schools through the Nebraska Arts Council's Artist-in-the-Schools Program. This workshop is part of a full day of fun and free activities, including the Monumental Fiddling Championships.
