This past June, Deb Burgess, the wife of Reverend Michael Burgess of St. Paul UMC Elmwood, contracted an illness which led to meningitis.  She spent 9 days in the Critical Care Unit and was unable to be cured and passed away.  She leaves behind her husband, three daughters and several grandchildren.  We are having a benefit dinner and fund drive to help offset the medical and burial expenses which were incurred.
