Starting September 2, 2015, recycling will be picked up EVERY OTHER WEDNESDAY.  During the month of September, recycling will be picked up on the 2nd, 16th and 30th.  There will be recycling containers available at the city shop to put recycling in for those who have extra recycling products in between pick up dates.  Garbage pick up on Tuesdays will be the same, with collection being every week.

Pool hours during fair week (August 5-8, 2015) will be as follows:

Wednesday, Thursday and Friday pool will close at 6 pm.

Saturday pool will close at 4pm.


Starting August 2, pool will close at 6pm on Sundays.


Last day for the pool to be open is Tuesday, August 18th.


First day of school will be August 19, 2015.  Check the school's website www.weepingwaterps.org for any changes to the calendar.


Fall Festival will be held Saturday, September 26, 2015.  It's time to start thinking about your ideas for the scarecrow contest.   More information will be coming soon!


CASA Advocates Training

 Cass Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) is currently recruiting CASA advocates to speak up for the best interest of abused and neglected children in Cass County.  The next training session is scheduled for September 2015 for five weeks.  The training consists of 15 hours of online training and 15 hours of in-person training.  We are also seeking male volunteers for this class.  If you are interested, please contact Angie Neumiller (402) 296-9520; email This email address is being protected from spambots.
