My name is Michael (Mike) Kindle and I am running for the office of City Council in Weeping Water. After retiring three years ago my wife, Judie, and I moved to Weeping Water to be closer to our son David who lives in Louisville.

The City of Weeping Water and the people who live here immediately welcomed us and made us feel accepted and I am truly thankful.

Within the three years of living here I served on the Executive Committee of the Weeping Water Chamber of Commerce for a two year term. Presently I am serving the city as a member of the Board of Adjustment and a member of the Weeping Water Planning Board. This year I accepted the officer position of Vice President of the Weeping Water Chamber of Commerce. I have also been a member of the Weeping Water Garden Club for the past three years.

I want to serve the City of Weeping Water as a City Councilman to promote safety for the city, stress the unique history of our city, make improvements and bring about responsible growth while maintaining the unique aspect of the community.
