Obituary

David Nielsen – 86 of Weeping Water, NE, passed away peacefully on January 3 rd , 2024, at Good Samaritan Society in Syracuse, NE. David was born to Carter and Lola Mae (Buskirk) Nielsen on December 29 th , 1937, in Weeping Water.

He is survived by his brother Dale (Sharon) Nielsen of Weeping Water, NE. Son, Dan (Sallie) Nielsen, daughter Kathy (Monty) Milburn, both of Avoca, NE. Grandchildren, Eric (Kara), Ryan, Adam (Amy), and Alec Nielsen. Mike (Laura) and Brian (Lindsey) Sorensen. Dawnelle (Bryan) Evans, Kevin (Shannon Herrick) Baxter, Sonja Norris, and 20 Great Grandchildren. He is also survived by many other family members, numerous customers, neighbors, and friends. Dave is preceded in death by his parents, Carter and Lola Mae, brothers, Donald and Dwain, wife Beth and stepson Bill Norris.
