The Weeping Water Gun Club offers a safe place to shoot.

The club began over 40 years ago. The range is a mile and a half south east of the town of Weeping Water in Cass County on Scenic Drive just south of the new bridge.

The club offers opportunities to shoot a myriad of events from .22 Rifle, .22 Pistol, and centerfire rifles and pistols.

The Club sponsors three events for the serious marksman: A State Pistol Championship, a Regional Pistol Championship, and a Preliminary Tryout for the US Olympic Team.

However, the WWGC sponsors many organized “shoots” for the club shooter who would like to get his gun out of the closet and shoot a box of shells, safely.

The next event is Saturday, April 25 about 11:30-Noon.

.22 PIstol. 30 shots

Stage One. Ten shots in ten minutes at 25 yards.

Stage Two. Two strings of five shots in 20 seconds each

Stage Three. Two strings of five shots in 10 seconds each.

Also sponsored by the Civilian Marksmanship Program.

May 15 is the same course of fire with either a .22 Pistol, .38 Revolver, or 9mm or .45 pistol.

The May event will start about 2:30-3:00 pm.

These events are for the community to come and have an organized SAFE place to shoot with Range Safety Officers and all the precautions.

So come out and have some fun, safely.

Memberships are also available for $100 a year for unlimited range time.

There are also many rifle events and .22 Rimfire Challenge, Bowling Pins, etc.
