The WW Chamber of Commerce held their monthly meeting at the WW High School last week and enjoyed a wonderful program put on by some of the High School Girls Chorus members and heard some powerful speeches by members of Ms. Croms's class.  What remarkable talented students we have at Weeping Water High School!!!

Please stop by the city office to license your UTV/ATV for the 2014 calendar year.  You will need to bring your drivers license and proof of insurance along with a $25 registration fee.  Licenses are valid January 1 thru December 31, 2014.  Office hours are 8-4, Monday-Friday.  Please call the office at 402-267-5152 with any questions.

The pet clinic will be held Saturday, April 12, 2014 from 9-11am at the fire barn.  Plattsmouth Vet Clinic will be on hand to give vaccinations and you can also license your pet(s) at that time.  There is a $7 per pet licensing fee and you need to have proof of rabies vaccine.  All pets must be licensed by May 1st.  You can stop the city office anytime between 8am-4pm, Monday-Friday to license.

Registration is now open for the 2014 Schoolhouse Fiddle Camps, in the Old Avoca Schoolhouse, in Avoca, Nebraska.  Deborah Greenblatt, championship fiddler, author of many fiddle collections, will help the campers get in touch with their inner fiddler.  Tthe course of study during the Schoolhouse Fiddle Camps will be designed specifically for the individual campers who sign up.

The June Camp (Monday, June 9 - Friday, June 13) is for folks who consider themselves beginners.  The July Camp (Monday, July 14 - Friday, July 18) is for folks who consider themselves intermediate or advanced.  Enrollment is limited to 10 fiddlers for each week, so that everyone will get individual attention.
