2015 ATV/UTV registration tags are now available at the City office. Please stop by to register your vehicle for the new calendar year. There is a $25 fee and we will need a copy of a valid driver's license and proof of insurance. The office is open Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm.

The public is invited to attend the Chamber of Commerce Holiday Banquet on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Gibson Hall. Social time starts at 6:30pm followed by a meal at 7:00pm provided by Slattery Vintage Estates. Tickets will be available at Grandpa Snazzys, Uptons Market and the City office. $6 per ticket or 2 for $10. There will also be a cash bar.
Awards will be announced for Community Service, Business of the Year and Business Person of the Year.

Fiddle Camps in Nebraska
Registration is now open for the 2015 Schoolhouse Fiddle Camps, in the Old Avoca Schoolhouse, in Avoca, Nebraska. Deborah Greenblatt, championship fiddler, author of many fiddle collections, will help the campers get in touch with their inner fiddler. The course of study during the Schoolhouse Fiddle Camps will be designed specifically for the individual campers who sign up.
The June Camp (Monday, June 15 - Friday, June 19) is for folks who consider themselves beginners. The July Camp (Monday, July 13 - Friday, July 17) is for folks who consider themselves intermediate or advanced. Enrollment is limited to 10 fiddlers for each week, so that everyone will get individual attention.
